Louis Theroux
Louis Sebastian Theroux was born on the 20th of May 1970 in Singapore and is a British-American broadcaster best known for his television series Louis Theroux's Weird Weekends.
Louis Theroux has made documentaries including Weird Weekends which is about how Louis followed marginal, mostly American subcultures like survivalists, Black nationalists, White supremacists and porn stars, often by living among or close to the people involved. Often, Theroux's documentary method subtly exposes the contradictions or farcical elements of some seriously-held beliefs.
He has also made a documentary called In When Louis met... in 2000-2002 where Theroux accompanied a different British celebrity in each programme as they went about their day-to-day business, interviewing them about their lives and experiences as he did so.
He has also written a book called The call of the weird: Travels in American subcultures.
Louis Theroux has also won awards for the work he has done including 1996 Emmy Awards, British Academy Tlevision Awards in 2001 and British Academy Television Awards in 2002.

Michael Moore
Michael Moore was born on the 23rd of April 1954 and is a director screenwriter, producer and actor.
Michael Moore has been involved within different directing roles in many films. These include Rogers and me, Canadian bacon, the big One, Sicko, Captain Mike across America and Fahrenheit.
Along with the documentaries he has directed he has also directed music videos, appeared in television shows and appeared on other film maker’s documentaries.
Michael Moore is also won an Academy Award and of Bowling for Columbine, Fahrenheit 9/11, and Sicko are all three of the top five highest-grossing documentaries of all time.

Nick Broomfiled
Nick Broomfield was born on the 30th of January 1948 and is currently an English documentary film maker.
Nick Broomfield has made documentaries such as Proud to be British, behind the rent strike and recent documentaries such as Battle for Hadintha which is about an incident occurring 3 months after a battle in the Iraq war where 24 Iraqi civilians were killed supposedly by US Marines. His most recent film, As time comes is about the Kingsnorth six, the environmentalists who scaled a rower at a coal-fired power station in protest against pollution in 2007.
The film maker has also won many awards for the work he has done including a BAFTA and many more,
Other work that Broomfield has done is a series of 5 commercials for Volkswagen too.
